How we handle your data
This page explains what data Michaelides Construction collects, why, and what choices you have. We keep things minimal: nothing is measured or tracked unless you agree to it first.

Cookies and tracking
By default this site sets no tracking cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary security cookie (`__cf_bm`) to detect bots — this is exempt from consent under ePrivacy because it is required for security. Statistics and advertising cookies (Google) are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner — see the next section.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
With your consent — given via the cookie banner and revocable at any time in the cookie settings below — we use Google Analytics 4 (visitor statistics) and Google Ads conversion tracking (measuring whether our ads lead to inquiries). Only after you accept does your browser load Google's measurement script and store Google cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_*`, `_gcl_au`, for up to 2 years). Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) processes your IP address and usage data in the process and may transfer data to servers in the USA. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you decline, nothing is loaded from Google and no data is sent. If you withdraw consent, we delete Google's cookies from your browser.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical logs (IP address, browser headers, requested URL) for security and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not retain or analyse these logs ourselves.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, the name, email, phone and message you provide are sent by email to our office through Resend (our email-sending service). We use these details only to reply to your inquiry. We do not store the form data on our servers beyond our email inbox, and we do not share it with third parties.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. Turnstile does not set cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. It sends signals about the request to Cloudflare to confirm you are not a bot. Legal basis: legitimate interest (form security).
Google Maps
The contact page shows a Google Maps embed of our office. The map does not load automatically — you have to click an explicit consent button. Once loaded, Google Maps may set its own cookies and process your IP address according to Google's own privacy policy. Your choice is remembered locally in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
Fonts and icons
All fonts (Manrope, Noto Serif, Heebo, Material Symbols) are self-hosted on this domain. We do not load anything from Google Fonts or other external font CDNs.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data you submitted via the contact form. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
